Blue Heater 2 Weapon Rankings
Stat scaling, Floor 1 Iron tools, Desert of Death mythics, and Lotus Lands chase drops.
Weapons in Blue Heater 2 only matter if they match the stat you actually stacked. Strength feeds swords, axes, and greatswords (the Iron Claymore line). Dexterity feeds daggers and rapiers. Intelligence feeds staffs. After Silent Snowfields those three damage stats grant 2 power per point instead of 1, so a mismatched weapon is twice as expensive as it looked at launch. This page ranks tools by that rule, not by how rare the overlay looks.
Read it beside race rankings and build rankings. Enlightened wants a staff even if a mythic axe drops. Fenris wants a dagger or rapier even if a claymore has a bigger PhysPOW number on the tooltip. Demon wants a scythe or sword that creates corpses for Soul Reaper. The tier list hub snapshot is the short version; the sections below are the upgrade ladder.
Floor 1: Stick, Iron, Scrap Knife
Everyone spawns with a Stick at level 1. It exists so you can walk to a shop. Crafting it again from one wood and a few coins is a joke recipe, not a plan. Replace it the moment Queenstown sells or crafts the Iron line.
The Iron set is the real tutorial kit: Iron Rapier, Iron Spear, Iron Dagger, Iron Axe, Iron Claymore, Iron Sword, Iron Scythe. Pick the class you intend to main. Do not collect all seven “for later” while your stats are still a smudge. A Demon farmer should leave town on Iron Scythe or Iron Sword. A Fenris should leave on Iron Dagger or Iron Rapier. A mage should not leave on any of them if a starter staff is for sale; if it is not, park on Spear for range until the first staff drop, then respec Intelligence.
Scrap Knife at level 3 is the early Dexterity bump when Iron Dagger is still thin. It is a bridge, not an identity. If you are Strength-based, skip it. Spend the coins on Iron Sword or Scythe and on Magic Apprentice Robe (mage) or the first leather pieces you can wear. Light Leather Coat around the mid-teens is the physical coat that actually shows up in craft lists; put it on before you vanity-farm Queenstown clothes.
Mid game: Glacial checks and Karlia
Silent Snowfields is where shields start to matter. Glacial Shield and Glacial Greatshield are the named checks: they do nothing while you never block, and they save runs when a knight’s physical hit is the only thing you have to parry. A Fenris who refuses to block can stay on agility kiting. A Demon who already heals on kill still wants a glacial off-hand for the hits Soul Reaper cannot outpace.
Lifesteal Lance is a skill from Karlia, not a weapon model. It slots onto swords, rapiers, spears, and daggers. That list is the sustain patch for people who did not pick Demon. A Fenris rapier with Lance can stand in a pack longer than the race has any right to. A Strength sword with Lance is how you fake Soul Reaper until you find a scythe. Staff users do not get it; Enlightened still drinks mana, not HP.
While you climb, follow leveling and quests instead of sitting on one elite for an hour. Weapons have level gates. A Desert mythic in the chat window is not equippable on a level 20 Stick warrior.
S-tier named pieces
Ragnarok Axe from Desert of Death is the mythic everyone quotes: +90 physical and +90 magic. It is the hybrid argument in item form. If you already have 50 Strength, the magic half is a bonus, not a reason to split Intelligence. If you already have 50 Intelligence, the physical half is a bonus, not a reason to split Strength. The players who brick themselves are the ones who respec to 25/25/25 because the axe “does both.” Keep the stats spine, wear the axe, and only splash the off-stat if a skill threshold demands it.
Farm it with a party. Desert of Death is not Queenstown. Bring the locations route, a mount for the sand, and at least one person who can hold a mechanic on bosses. Solo Demon can chip it; Fenris should not try until dodge timing is automatic.
Solflame Staff, Abyssal Voidflame, and Orian’s Platemail drop from Orian. Staff users treat Solflame as the mage chase that actually matches Enlightened. Abyssal Voidflame is the sword-shaped temptation; take it if your slot is already Strength, not because the name is louder than Solflame. Platemail is the tank chest for Elf healers and Demon fronts who have outgrown Light Leather Coat. If your Bits are tight, armor that keeps you alive is a weapon upgrade by another name.
Gylath is the spear from the Jail Guard quest. Spears give range that scythes do not. A Strength player who hates standing inside hits can live on Gylath and still feed the Physical DPS tree. It is not a Dexterity weapon; Fenris should not reroll for it.
Lotus Lands chase: Zetsukai, Metsurai, Sreig
Floor 4 is live. Sreig in Lotus Lands is the miniboss people farm for Zetsukai and Metsurai. Metsurai is the late scythe: huge PhysPOW and MagicPOW, 14% crit, 90% crit damage in the level 90 band. That is the Demon endgame stick, the thing you replace Iron Scythe with after months, not after a weekend. Zetsukai sits in the same hunt. If you are reading this the week a patch ships, confirm drop chance on Lotus Lands notes before you camp the wrong spawn.
Do not skip Floor 3 just because Floor 4 exists. Orian gear and Ragnarok still carry most of Desert. Lotus Lands weapons have level bands that punish underbuilt trees. Copy a spread from the build rankings page, then go hunting.
Class rungs, not trophy rungs
- Staff — S for Enlightened Mage Burst and Elf heals. Solflame is the named star. Intelligence plus Focus, always.
- Scythe — S for Demon pack farming. Iron Scythe into Metsurai. Strength first, Dexterity splash.
- Sword — S/A for Demon when you want a cleaner moveset, or when Abyssal Voidflame drops before a scythe does.
- Dagger / Rapier — S for Fenris, C for everyone else. Iron Dagger or Scrap Knife into later rapiers. Dexterity plus Agility.
- Axe — A once Ragnarok exists, C as Iron Axe. Hybrid only if the rest of the kit can use both halves.
- Claymore / Greatsword — A for raw hits and crit damage, slow for Fenris windows. Strength plus Vitality.
- Spear — A for range and for Gylath. Strength. Good on players who already understand poke from controls.
- Stick — F except for the first five minutes.
Blacksmith work lives in Middlebar Town: wood, ore, coins. Upgrade the weapon you swing, not a second class “for the collection.” Companions do not add damage no matter how Legendary the Nun looks next to Metsurai.
Starter shop gold is finite. If you are still on Stick, buy one Iron weapon that matches your race, put Light Leather Coat or Magic Apprentice Robe on the body, and leave overlays alone until Desert of Death has a real drop to chase. The axe that changes the account is Ragnarok, and it does not care about your Queenstown fashion board.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Blue Heater 2 questions.
What is the best weapon in Blue Heater 2?
Staff for Enlightened, Scythe or Sword for Demon, Dagger or Rapier for Fenris. The strongest named drop is Ragnarok Axe from Desert of Death. Match it to a build, not the other way around.
Should I keep the Stick for any reason?
No. Stick is level 1 trash. Replace it with the Iron line in Queenstown as soon as getting started lets you reach a shop.
How do I get Gylath?
Complete the Jail Guard quest. It is a Strength spear, so it belongs on Demon or other physical trees, not on a Fenris Dexterity stack. Check quests for the pickup.
Where do Solflame Staff and Abyssal Voidflame drop?
Orian. Platemail is in the same table. Bring a party; the bosses page covers the fight. Staff users want Solflame first.
What does Lifesteal Lance actually work on?
Swords, rapiers, spears, and daggers after you unlock the skill from Karlia. It does not turn a staff into a life-steal mage. Demon scythes often skip it because Soul Reaper already heals; Fenris rapiers want it, as the build rankings page notes.
Is Metsurai better than Ragnarok Axe?
For a Demon scythe main, yes as a class weapon. Ragnarok is the hybrid mythic. Farm Sreig in Lotus Lands only after your Desert kit can survive the floor.
