Blue Heater 2 Build Rankings
Copyable race, weapon, and stat spreads for S-tier burst, solo sustain, and party heals.
A Blue Heater 2 build is three locks: a permanent race, a weapon class, and a stat spine you can still rebuild with Bleeder Bits in Sunshine Town. Get any one of those wrong and the other two look broken. This page ranks complete kits, not isolated passives. Pair it with race rankings and weapon rankings so you are not mixing Enlightened with a claymore and calling it a guide.
Percentages below are shares of your spent points, not a promise that you will have exactly 50 Intelligence at level 20. Each level grants a handful of points (three on the live sheet). Keep the ratio as you grow. After Silent Snowfields, Strength, Intelligence, and Dexterity deal 2 damage per point, Vitality is 10 HP, Focus is 3 mana, and Agility still buys stamina. That rework is why old “stack Focus to 50” mage clips feel greedy now.
S-tier: Mage Burst
- Race: Enlightened (Mana Harvest, +5% mana on kill)
- Weapon: Staff, chasing Solflame Staff from Orian when Desert of Death is legal
- Spread: 50 Intelligence / 30 Focus / 20 Vitality
- Armor: Magic Apprentice Robe early, then whatever mage chest keeps you from getting clipped
This is the highest burst kit in the game and the safest first main if you will actually press skills. Mana Harvest exists because Focus was nerfed from 5 mana per point to 3; kills are how you keep the bar up when the pool is smaller. Skip Strength and Dexterity. A Stick auto on this tree is you playing the wrong game.
Play it from range, dump a rotation, dodge (15 stamina, so the 20% Vitality is not a license to stand in fire), and let corpses refund mana. Bosses with long downtime between adds feel worse than packed Flywood rooms. Bring a party member on bosses that refuse to die during your empty bar. Do not skip Vitality to “min-max damage”; 20% is the floor that stops one desert hit from deleting the slot.
Respec trigger: you accidentally dumped Agility because movement felt slow. Buy Bits from quests and daily bounties, reset in Sunshine Town, and put the points back on Intelligence. Race stays Enlightened. That is the whole rebuild.
S-tier: Physical DPS
- Race: Demon (Soul Reaper, +5% HP on kill)
- Weapon: Scythe first, Sword if you prefer a tighter kit; Iron Scythe is the Floor 1 buy, Metsurai is the Lotus Lands dream from Sreig
- Spread: 50 Strength / 30 Vitality / 20 Dexterity
- Armor: Light Leather Coat into heavier plates; Orian’s Platemail when it drops
This is the solo grind kit. Packs pay you in health. Scythes create more corpses per swing, which is more Soul Reaper ticks, which is why the tier list hub lists scythe above sword for Demon. The 20% Dexterity is a splash for attack feel, not a Fenris tree hiding in Strength clothes. Do not take 50 Dexterity on this race unless you are willing to admit you wanted Fenris.
Single-target bosses are the weak hour. Soul Reaper needs kills. If Orian is a ten-minute dummy fight with no adds, you are a tanky melee with no refund. That is when you want an Enlightened friend or an Elf, not a panic respec into Intelligence. Lifesteal Lance from Karlia is optional here; it works on swords but the race already heals. Save the skill slot if your scythe loop is clean.
A-tier: Crit Assassin
- Race: Fenris (Predator’s Instinct, +10% crit for 5 seconds after a kill, 10s cooldown)
- Weapon: Dagger or Rapier — Iron Dagger, Scrap Knife, then later rapiers. Not claymores. Not Ragnarok unless you like wasting the 5-second window on a slow swing.
- Spread: 50 Dexterity / 25 Agility / 25 Vitality
Highest single-target profile if you can dodge. The buff is short and gated. Your job is: get a kill, dump the window into the next elite, roll out. Agility is here because stamina is the real HP bar. Vitality is here because Desert of Death does not care about your crit rate. This is not a beginner tree; controls have to be automatic on the device you actually play (mobile included).
Karlia’s Lifesteal Lance is excellent on this kit because Fenris has no Soul Reaper. Put it on the rapier. Human players who copied this spread without the race will still feel the missing 10% crit rider; do not do that.
A-tier: Tank Healer
- Race: Elf (Nature’s Grace, 10% of your HP when you heal someone else)
- Weapon: Staff (heal skills, not Solflame greed unless the party already has a burst mage)
- Spread: 40 Vitality / 30 Focus / 30 Intelligence
This kit is for online team-up, which the game actually has. Solo, you are a slow mage with a passive that never fires. In a four-stack on Orian or Lotus Lands, you are why the Demon does not lie down during AoE. Intelligence is still here so your heals and chips are not wet noodles. Focus keeps the bar up because you cannot Mana Harvest like Enlightened.
If your friends flake, park the Elf and play Demon. Do not “prove” the healer in Flywood slimes; the passive needs other players.
A-tier late pivot: Ragnarok hybrid
Ragnarok Axe (+90 physical, +90 magic, Desert of Death mythic) is a weapon you add to a finished S-tier tree, not a third damage stat you invent. Keep 50 Strength on Demon or 50 Intelligence on Enlightened. Wear the axe. Enjoy the off-school number. The players who open stats and split 33/33/33 because “the axe does both” turn a mythic into a worse Iron tool.
Gylath (Jail Guard quest spear) is a cleaner physical sidegrade if you hate axe timing and want range. Zetsukai and Metsurai from Sreig are class endgames; they do not ask you to rebuild the spine. Check Lotus Lands for which hunt is live before you camp the wrong miniboss.
What not to build
- Even 16% splits across all six stats. Silent Snowfields made the damage stats twice as good; spreading them is twice as wrong.
- Agility-first greatswords. Agility does not swing a claymore harder.
- Human gold mains. Golden Touch does not replace a combat passive; most gold is still from selling loot. See the players hub if you want an alt philosophy instead of a combat tree.
- Companion-based “buff” kits. Companions are cosmetic. A Legendary Nun does not add Strength.
Upgrade order that respects this list: copy one S-tier kit at the Queenstown shop, follow leveling until the next named weapon is legal, spend Bits on the live weapon and on a reset only when the ratio is visibly wrong, then hunt Orian and Ragnarok. Getting started covers the first hour; this page covers the tree you should still be wearing in Sunshine Town a month later.
Respec after you clear Orian, not before. The Sunshine Town vendor is cheap compared with a dead stat tree in Lotus Lands, but burning Bits on a level-20 experiment delays Gylath, Solflame, and the Sreig farm. Finish a real kit, then pay to rebuild it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Blue Heater 2 questions.
What is the best build in Blue Heater 2?
Mage Burst (Enlightened + Staff, 50 INT / 30 FOC / 20 VIT) and Physical DPS (Demon + Scythe or Sword, 50 STR / 30 VIT / 20 DEX) are both S-tier. Pick based on whether you want burst or kill sustain, then confirm the lineage on race rankings.
Can I change a build later?
Stats yes, race no. Bleeder Bits at Sunshine Town reset the tree; lineage is locked. Read the stats guide before you spend Bits twice on the same mistake.
Is Crit Assassin good for beginners?
Usually not. Fenris needs dodge timing and a Dexterity weapon. Start Demon or Enlightened from getting started, then roll Fenris on a second slot.
How should I spend points on Ragnarok Axe?
Keep your main damage stat at 50% share. The axe already supplies the other school. Splitting STR and INT down the middle wastes the Silent Snowfields 2-damage-per-point rework; the stats guide has the live conversions.
Where does Elf healer actually play?
Group bosses and dungeon stacks. Nature's Grace never fires if you solo. Pair with a Demon farmer and let the race rankings page explain why.
Do I need Lotus Lands gear to copy these spreads?
No. The ratios work on Iron weapons. Metsurai, Zetsukai, and Solflame are upgrades you chase later; see Lotus Lands and weapon rankings for the hunt.
